Jude is a prolific songwriter and has over a hundred original compositions registered with APRA including tastes of Classical, Celtic, Jazz, Latin, Funk, Calypso, Eastern European and Gypsy. In 2012 Jude was nominated for a WAM award for her song 'Dreams' and in 2004 was a finalist in the ABC Fresh Air Song Writing competition.

In 2011 Jude released a CD with guitarist and singer/songwriter Craig Sinclair called 'Out in the Air'. Previous releases include two CDs of original songs with six piece dance band Midnight Mahina.

In 2008 and 2009 Jude was a member of 'East of Us' and 'North Of Us', a group of ten Denmark Artists who spent a week in the remote rural communities of Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun and Lake Grace on a cultural exchange.
Jude is a respected Violin Teacher in Albany and Denmark, being the Director of the String Programmes at Saint Joseph's College in Albany and Golden Hill Steiner School in Denmark since 2005.

Jude directs, writes and arranges songs for The Lowlands Community Choir, which welcomes everyone to experience the simple joy of singing in three part harmony.

Jude has performed at Leeuwin Estate with The WA Symphony Orchestra, supported Shooglenifty,The Cat Empire and Eric Bibb for The Perth International Arts Festival and played at Fairbridge, Nannup, Bridgetown, Busselton, Harbourside and The National Folk Festivals. She was also part of popular five/six piece dance band Midnight Mahina and Jazz Trio Odd Sock.

Jude began playing the violin at the age of six with Suzuki teacher George Coleman. She was awarded a music scholarship to Methodist Ladies College, where she was tutored by Alan Bonds. Jude was leader of the WA Youth Orchestra and won the State Music Exhibition in 1983. She pursued tertiary studies at The WA Conservatorium of Music under the tutition of Paul Wright. Jude was a member of the WA Arts Orchestra and a casual member of the WA Symphony Orchestra from 1991-2004. While living in Perth, Jude was a sought after freelance violinist, playing at numerous Weddings and Corporate functions. Jude was resident Violinist at Atenisi University in The Kingdom of Tonga in 1997-1998.
